Mid-term Exams (10% each)

EXAM 1
Midterm #1 is scheduled for Fri Oct 14. Solutions to the exam are now available. The Exam Report and Self Assessment form are also available.

The First Exam from Math 224 Spring 2004 and study problems from Math 224 Fall 2004 were distributed as practice exam exercises. Solutions to the study  problems are available as well as (new!) solutions to the Spring 2004 exam.

EXAM 2
Midterm #2 is scheduled for Fri Nov 18.

The Second Exam from Math 224 Spring 2004 and study problems from Math 224 Spring 2005 will be distributed as practice exam exercises (a study guide).

Solutions to the Math 224 Spring 2004 Exam 2 are here: (page 1, page 2, page 3, page 4, page 5, and page 6). Solutions to the study guide were handed out in class and are also available here.

These dates are subject to change until 1 week before the scheduled date. You may not be excused from a test without notifying me at least 1 week before the scheduled test date.

EXAM 2 REPRISE (1-week take-home version)
Since I don't feel like the class performance on the in-class exam given was all that it could be, I'm making the exam available to be done as a take home exam also. I will then grade both versions of the exam your official score on Exam 2 will be an average of the two, if it is greater than your in-class exam.
This is  take home exam. There is to be no discussion between students about the questions on the exam and everyone is to work on their own. If you have questions you may ask them of me. 

Final Exam (20%) 
The Final Exam is scheduled for Friday December 9 at 8:30-11:30am.

The Final Exam may be optional for those students who have an A or A- on the rest of the material (Quiz, HW and Exams).
