Mid-term Exams (10% each)

Mid-Term Exam #1
The first exam will be on Friday October 9th. The topics are all of chapter 1 and Sections 2.1, 2.2, 2.4, 2.5 and 2.6 in Chapter 2.

The Practice Exam is the Fall 2014 Exam 1. The solutions are now available online.

EXAM #1 RESULTS

The average score on Exam #1 was 84 with a high of 98 and  alow of 52. The median score was 87. Thus there was no "curve" on the exam. (A is 92.5+, A- is 90+, B+ is 87.5+, B is 82.5+, etc)

Mid-Term Exam #2
The second exam will be Friday November 6th. (NOTE: Buckmire is out of town starting Tuesday November 5th through Tuesday November 12th.)

The topics are Section 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, 5.1, 5.3, 5.4.

The Practice Exam is the Fall 2010 Exam 2. The solutions are now available online.

Cumulative Final Exam (20%)
The final exam will be on Saturday December 12 2015  from 8:30am-11:30am. This final exam will not be optional. The Final Exam review session will be Friday 12/11/14 3-5pm in Fowler 307. I will also be available for questions in office hours all day Wednesday December 9th starting at 3pm.
