Note: by successfully completing
AT LEAST HALF of these
extra credit opportunities by Wednesday December 4th your final grade will be
increased by a third of a letter grade, i.e. from B+ to A-. Doing less
than HALF will earn no extra credit. There will be
approximately six extra credit
opportunities (ECO) throughout the semester. If there are and odd number of ECOs, then the "magic
ECO barrier" will be half the number of total ECOs available plus 1 (i.e.
N/2+1 .
All ECO's must be completed by the
last day of class (Wed Dec 4).
No one source of ECO type can be a majority of your ECOs.
