Homework
Please hand in the bold (or marked with *) problems
BEFORE 5pm on the Friday that they are due.
Homework can (and probably should) be done in groups, but the work you hand in
must reflect your own understanding of the material. No copying allowed.
Homework (combined with Participation) is 20% of your course grade.
Participation will not be more than one-quarter (5% overall course grade) but
not more than half of the "Homework" course grade.
Quizzes
We will have regular quizzes. Probably weekly. Some will be
take-home, some will be in-class "Reading Quizzes." Quizzes are 20% of your final
course grade.
Course Project
The course project is worth 20% of our final course grade.
