In Economics 311 we will study the causes and consequences of international  trade and exchange. Throughout the course we will be concerned with the  interrelationship between national and international markets. The major  topics will be international trade, trade policy, international resource migration, and open economy macroeconomics. Intermediate Microeconomic  Theory (Economics 250) and Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory (Economics 251)  are prerequisites for this course. Important: If you have already taken  Economics 131 (World Economy), you cannot receive credit for this class.
