TERM PROJECTS 

Projects consists of a 8-10 page paper and a 8-10 minute oral/video presentation (given on Thursday November 30).

Objective of the Course Project is:

To demonstrate synthesis of mathematical content and historical context in a history of mathematics presentation that contains non-trivial mathematics and interesting historical detail.

PROMPT AVAILABLE: Tuesday September 19th
PROJECT PROPOSAL DUE: Thursday October 5th
DRAFT PAPER DUE: Tuesday November 21st, 5pm (by email)

ORAL PRESENTATION: Thursday November 30 (in class)
FINAL PAPER DUE: Tuesday December 12th, 5pm

Generally 75-80% on project components are what I mean by "meets expectations."
