Discussion Guidelines from Learning Outside the Lines

(You will participate in 2 different discussion groups per the schedule at the end of this page)

  1. Skim over Part I. Deviant Minds
  2. Read the section that your group will discuss and be prepared to report to the class on the main themes involved in your assigned section within Part II. Schooled
  3. Your group will present ideas in your section.
  4. Your group will assess different techniques that are presented and compare techniques used by the group and those used by other students in the class.
  5. Evaluate which of these techniques may be best suited to each of you in the group.
  6. Prepare questions to ask the class - to activate discussion!

I will be grading you on how well you present and address the information in #3 - 6 above.
