The QWizPlus program

Description: QWizPlus is an interactive, computer-based program designed to help you further sharpen your problem-solving skills. Unlike a professor or tutor, QWizPlus is always available for your use, as long as you have access to a PC running Windows (but not Windows 7) and connected to the school's computer network. QwizPlus is divided into units which correspond to the subject areas of the course. Each unit is basically a problem set consisting of several problems of various types: multiple choice, true-false, computational, etc. Most of the problems have several variations, so each of you is likely to see a different set of problems when you take a unit self-test.

Setup: QWizPlus is optional. If you choose to do it, you receive an A grade with a weight equal to 1/2 of your QWizPlus total percentage score. So if you complete all units and earn 100% on all of them, then you receive an A for 50% of your homework grade. If you receive 80% as your total QWizPlus score, then you will receive an A worth 40% of your homework grade.

Note: QWiz Plus operates only in a Windows (XP or earlier; NOT Windows 7) environment and only within Oxy's campus network.
