Economics 131: The World Economy
Requirements: Your course grade will be distributed approximately as follows:

| Three equally weighted exams | 60% | 50% |
| Research paper (6-8 pages) and country journal | 15% | 25% |
| Two short papers (2-3 pages each) | 15% | 15% |
| Participation | 10% | 10% |
Participation includes attendance as well as involvement in class activities such as worksheet exercises, practice exams and discussions. Note: you must complete all course assignments conscientiously in order to receive a passing grade for the course.
