Using QWiz Plus
Description: QWizPlus is an interactive, computer-based program designed to help you further sharpen your problem-solving skills. Unlike a professor or tutor, QWizPlus is always available for your use, as long as you have access to a PC connected to the school's computer network. QwizPlus is divided into units which correspond to the subject areas of the course. Each unit is basically a problem set consisting of several problems of various types: multiple choice, true-false, computational, etc. Most of the problems have several variations, so each of you is likely to see a different set of problems when you take a unit self-test.
Setup: QWizPlus is optional. If you choose to do it, your QWizPlus score can
count for 1/2 of your homework grade. I will count it only if it improves your homework
grade (which it always does since you can keep trying it until you score 100%, and
QWizPlus retains only your highest score). QWizPlus units completed late receive
half credit.
The grade you earn is based on your average percentage score with the
following cutoffs: A: 90%; AB: 85%; B: 75%; BC: 70%; C: 60%; CD: 55%; D: 45%.

If you run into trouble or have any questions, let me know. And keep in mind that since you can practice as much as you want ahead of time and repeat questions and units as often as you want, you have plenty of opportunities to receive an A on this part of your course grade.
