Objective: Reflect on the future of LGBTQ rights while creatively demonstrating familiarity and facility with webtools

Create a web-based artifact that discusses/depicts your thoughts on some contemporary topic involving LGBTQ rights. One particular topic you may want to discuss are some predictions about what the future holds for LGBT rights in the United States and beyond.

Then write a blogpost (1-2 pages or 250-400 words) that is an analysis, description, and explanation of the web-based artifact you have created.

The intent of this exercise is to give you an opportunity to demonstrate your creativity regarding expression of ideas in a non-written format as you also reflect on the ideas and themes of the course. Here are some suggestions for creating possible web-based artifacts:

• Use Biteable or something else to produce a short cartoon  that expresses your thoughts about the LGBTQ future or depicts a moment in LGBT history
• Use a Meme generator (like imgflip or Kapwing) to create a Meme summarizing your thoughts about the future of LGBTQ equality
  
• Find a short video online (YouTube, Vimeo, etc) which expresses your thoughts and feelings about LGBTQ Rights in the past, present or future
  
• Create images (i.e. DALL-E/A.I.-powered image generator or Giphy) or include images from other online sources (properly cited!) and then include your commentary to analyze the included material and clarify what you want the reader to understand from it
• Something else of your choice! (When in doubt e-mail me to ask before you complete the assignment)
  

The basic requirements are (1) You produce a web-based visual artifact by taking advantage of web 2.0 technology in some fashion and (2) you write an analysis of your creation that explains and communicates the intended message and your reflections on the themes of this course.

REMINDERS
1) YOUR ARTICLE OR DOCUMENT SHOULD BE POSTED TO YOUR PERSONAL BLOG BY THE DEADLINE.
2) YOU SHOULD POST THE URL (WEBLINK) TO YOUR WEB-BASED VISUAL ARTEFACT  ON THE COURSEBLOG.
3) YOU DO NOT NEED A THESIS; THIS IS A REFLECTIVE NOT ANALYTIC WRITING ASSIGNMENT.
