Actuarial Student Club

The actuarial student club at UT meets biweekly, and usually invites a guest speaker from the actuarial field to share with us any of various topics. Afterwards, the club usually offers free pizza and drinks for paid members at a local establishment (such as Double Dave's).

• Thursday, 29 October: presentation by PricewaterhouseCoopers at the Faculty Center; reception included
• Wednesday, 4 November: presentation by Great-West Life (near Denver) in RLM 5.120 at 5 pm, with drinks and pizza to follow
• Monday, 16 November: presentation by Deloitte & Touche in RLM 5.104 at 5 pm, with drinks and pizza to follow, on actuarial consulting careers with their nationwide accounting firm
• Monday, 23 November: presentation by the Natural Sciences College Career Services Center on "Job offer evaluation & salary negotiation" at 5 pm in RLM 5.104
• Wednesday, 2 December: presentation at 5 pm in RLM5.104 by USAA Insurance on property & casualty careers in general and on USAA in particular; pizza & drinks follow
