The Relaxin data frame has 198 rows and 3 columns giving the results
of 9 runs of a bioassay of the protein relaxin.
DATA DESCRIPTION:
This data frame contains the following columns:
Run:
a factor giving the run number.
conc:
known concentration of the relaxin protein (ng/ml).
cAMP:
amount of intracellular adenosine-3',5'-cyclic monophosphate (cAMP)
released (pmole/ml).
SOURCE:
These data were given in Fei, Gross, Lofgren, Mora-Worms, and Chen
(1990), "Cyclic AMP response to recombinant human relaxin by cultured
endometrial cells - a specific and high througput in-vitro bioassay",
Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, vol. 170, pp
214-222. They are described in section 1.1.4 of Davidian and Giltinan
(1995), "Nonlinear Models for Repeated Measurement Data", Chapman and
Hall, London and analyzed in section 10.4.2 of the same book.
