Occidental College is located in northeast Los Angeles in the community of Eagle Rock, between Pasadena on the east and Glendale on the west. The campus is 15 minutes from downtown Los Angeles, less than an hour from the beaches and within two hours of local mountain resorts and ski areas.
Directions from LAX
Most airlines have flights scheduled into Los Angeles International Airport. Throughout the day and evening, buses run from the individual airline terminals to hotels in the Pasadena-Glendale-Eagle Rock area.
The SuperShuttle [(800) 200-6655] provides transportation from LAX to Occidental College and the Pasadena Westin. They depart every 15 to 30 minutes from LAX and a one-way fare is approximately $35. From Los Angeles International (LAX) airport, claim your luggage then step out to the van stop at the outer island and contact a SuperShuttle Guest Service Representative.

Directions from Burbank Airport
Many major airlines also fly into the Burbank - Pasadena - Glendale Airport, which is less than a half-hour drive from the college. Many of the same shuttle services offer transportation between the Burbank Airport and Occidental.
Prime Time Shuttle [(800) 733-8267] offers door - to -door service from Burbank Airport to Occidental College and the Pasadena Westin. Reservations should be made at least forty-eight hours in advance. The fare is approximately $21 one-way and $34 round-trip. Look for the red vans with "Prime Time Shuttle" printed in white on the side.
