Professor Horowitz is the Editor-in-Chief of
the New Dictionary of the History of Ideas (N.Y.: Charles
Scribner's Sons, 2005), available on-line or 6 books. She
is the author of the monograph Seeds of Virtue and Knowledge
(Princeton, N.J.: Princeton University Press, 1998). WINNER of the
Jacques Barzun Prize in Cultural History of the American Philosophical
Society. Her most recent article
on Ficino and Leone Ebreo is in Cambridge’s Platonic Love from Antiquity to the Renaissance
(2022). Many
